year insurance defense litigation associate to join out Fort
Lauderdale team handling 3rd party property cases, premises
liability cases and PIP. Other areas of insurance defense are

throughout the state Job Details Job Details: We are seeking an
ambitious and experienced Associate Attorney specializing in
Insurance Defense for a Permanent position. The successful
candidate will be part of our dynamic legal team, working closely
with our clients to provide expert legal advice and representation
in all matters related to insurance defense. This includes personal
injury protection (PIP), premises liability, first/third-party
claims, and litigation. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of
4 years of experience in a similar role. Responsibilities:
Represent clients in court or before government agencies,
presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in
civil litigation. Advise clients concerning business transactions,
claim liability, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits,
or legal rights and obligations. Interpret laws, rulings and
regulations for individuals and businesses. Prepare and draft legal
documents, such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages,
leases, and contracts. Gather evidence to formulate defense or to
initiate legal actions, by such means as interviewing clients and
witnesses to ascertain the facts of a case. Negotiate settlements
of civil disputes. Perform administrative and management functions
related to the practice of law. Act as agent, trustee, guardian, or
executor for businesses or individuals. Present and summarize cases
to judges and juries. Evaluate findings and develop strategies and
arguments in preparation for presentation of cases. Supervise legal
assistants. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an
accredited law school. Must be an active member in good standing
with the Florida State Bar. Minimum 4 years of experience in
insurance defense litigation. Proven experience in personal injury
protection (PIP), premises liability, first/third party claims, and
litigation. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills,
capable of maintaining professional demeanor in high-stress
situations. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and
cases. Excellent negotiation skills. Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills. Proficient in legal research and writing.
Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite and
legal research platforms. Ability to work independently and as part
of a team. Strong commitment to client service and demonstrated
ability to manage and build client relationships. High level of
professionalism and ethical standards. Willingness to continue
learning and improving lawyering skills. Ability to travel as
