Job Description:

Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment due to high complexity cardiovascular cases and take appropriate action. Responds quickly to changes in patient condition, surgical plan and adjust instruments accordingly. Collaborates with perfusion and anesthesia. Requires working long hours, including evenings, weekends and on call shifts. Required Work Experience: Memorial Regional Hospital: One (1) year of Cardiac/Vascular OR experience required.Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital: One (1) year of Surgical Technician experience required. Cardiac operating room experience and congenital heart disease experience is preferred.
