Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARYThe primary role of the Bariatric Coordinator is the coordination of care for bariatric surgery patients and management of ongoing quality measures related to bariatric surgery outcomes. This includes Bariatric program development, patient and staff education, as well as oversight of multidisciplinary teams and acting as the liaison between the hospital and surgical practice.

Preferred: BSNMinimum ExperienceRegistered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida. AHA BLS Certification CBN CertificationEXPERIENCE: Three years + experience in the management of a bariatric program that includes proficiency in program development, insurance and marketing experience.Three to five years of clinical nursing experience, nursing management experience of quality management, case management or discharge planningPhysical RequirementsWorking Conditions: Subject to normal working conditions. Some weekends and evening hours required.Physical Requirements:
