Job Description:
OverviewThe Analytics Platform and Services Senior Director is
responsible for leading the design, oversight, and delivery of data
and analytics solutions that support the strategic goals and
objectives Lennar. The Senior Director will oversee a team of data
engineers, data analysts, and business intelligence specialists who
provide data-driven insights and recommendations to various Data &
Analytics functions and stakeholders. The Senior Director will also
collaborate with other IT leaders and business partners to ensure
alignment and integration of the analytics platform and services
with the overall IT architecture and strategy. Additionally, the
Senior Director will oversee a managed services contract for the
run and maintain of the analytics platform and services, ensuring
service level agreements, quality standards, and customer
satisfaction are met. Furthermore, the Senior Director will create
and lead a data engineering and ingestion center of excellence,
providing guidance, best practices, and support for the data
acquisition, transformation, and integration processes across
Lennar. Responsibilities
- Define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the
analytics platform and services, ensuring alignment with the
corporate IT goals and priorities.
- Lead and manage a team of data and analytics professionals,
providing coaching, mentoring, performance management, and career
development.
- Establish and maintain best practices, standards, and
governance for data quality, security, privacy, and compliance
across the analytics platform and services.
- Develop and implement scalable, reliable, and cost-effective
data and analytics solutions that meet the current and future needs
of the corporate IT organization and its customers.
- Drive innovation and adoption of new technologies,
methodologies, and capabilities in the data and analytics domain,
such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and
advanced analytics.
- Partner with other Data & Analytics leaders and business
stakeholders to understand their requirements, challenges, and
opportunities, and provide solutions that deliver value and
insights.
- Communicate and promote the value and benefits of the analytics
platform and services to the IT organization and the wider
enterprise.
- Manage the budget, resources, and vendors for the analytics
platform and services, ensuring quality, efficiency, and
effectiveness.
- Manage a managed services contract for the run and maintain of
the analytics platform and services, ensuring service level
agreements, quality standards, and customer satisfaction are
met.
- Create and lead a data engineering and ingestion center of
excellence, providing guidance, best practices, and support for the
data acquisition, transformation, and integration processes across
Lennar.
- Oversee and mange vendor and partner contracts, renewals, and
platform tooling roadmap ensure strong relationships and a
strategic vision of platform operations. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems,
statistics, or related field. Master's degree or higher
preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in data and analytics, with at
least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven track record of delivering successful data and analytics
solutions that support business objectives and outcomes.
- Strong knowledge and experience in data engineering, data
analysis, data science, business intelligence, and data
visualization.
- Expertise in data and analytics technologies, tools, and
platforms, such as SQL, Python, R, Spark, AWS, Azure, Tableau,
Power BI, Swowflake, DBT, Prefect, AWS Glue, etc.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal
skills, with the ability to communicate complex data and analytics
concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making
skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities and
demands.
- Highly collaborative, team-oriented, and customer-focused, with
the ability to build and maintain effective relationships across
the organization.
- Willingness to work five days in office at the Lennar Corporate
headquarters in Miami, FL.Physical Requirements:This is primarily a
sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the
ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop,
reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is
