The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and finishing interior and exterior surfaces across residential, commercial, or industrial projects. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, knowledge of painting techniques and materials, and a commitment to safety and quality artistry. Key Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by washing, scraping, sanding, caulking, and priming Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment Mix and match paint colors to achieve the desired results Cover and protect furniture, fixtures, and floors during painting projects Repair minor drywall, plaster, or wood damage before painting Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear Maintain a clean and organized work area Communicate with supervisors and clients to ensure project expectations are met Assist with estimating materials and time required for jobs (if applicable) Required Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 1 years of experience in painting or general construction Knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and surface preparation methods Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, and in various weather conditions Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods Preferred Qualifications Experience with commercial or industrial painting projects Familiarity with specialty coatings, textures, or faux finishes OSHA safety training or certification Valid driver's license and reliable transportation What We Offer Competitive hourly wage based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for advancement and training Supportive team environment Steady work with diverse projects 3264ST Express Office: Boca Raton-Delray Beach 15127 Jog Road Suite 212 Delray Beach, FL 33446
