They are seeking a Commercial Real Estate Controller who is looking to grow within an organization and who will spearhead the entire accounting / finance department. Apply today to learn more! Job Details Responsibilities: 1. Oversee and manage all financial aspects of our real estate portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. 2. Work closely with property managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. 3. Develop and implement financial strategies to maximize property value and profitability. 4. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards. 5. Use MRI and other financial software to analyze financial data and generate reports. 6. Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes. 7. Review and approve property acquisitions, dispositions, and capital expenditures. 8. Provide financial expertise and guidance to senior management and other team members. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. An advanced degree or certification (such as CPA, CMA, or MBA) is preferred. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role in the real estate industry, with a focus on commercial real estate. 3. Proficient in MRI and other financial software. 4. Strong knowledge of real estate markets and financial regulations. 5. Excellent financial and analytical skills. 6. Strong leadership and team management skills. 7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 9. High level of integrity and professionalism. 10.
